தந்தைப் பாசத்தைப் பிழிந்து ஊட்டும் தற்போதைய தமிழ் திரைப்பட 'trend'-ல் மற்றுமோர் வரவு 'அபியும் நானும்'. மகனுக்கு பதில் மகளை மையப்படுத்தி இருப்பதுதான் வித்தியாசம். ஆனால் அதுதான் படத்தின் சறுக்கலுக்கும் காரணமாகிறது.
மகன் என்றால் வேலையில், தொழிலில் வெற்றி, ராணுவ 'Major', 'heroism' எல்லாம். ஆனால் பெண் என்றால் காதலும் கல்யாணமும்தான் வெற்றியாம்! இது தமிழ்க் கதாநாயகிகளின் காலவரையற்ற சாபக்கேடா, இயக்குனர்களின் குறுகிய மனப்பான்மையா அல்லது கற்பனை வறட்சியா?
hai aravind ,i dont think movie is sentimental or preachy...although u can say the story is single line about father and daughter relationship...the screenplay is poetic,comical and entertaining(atleast 90% of the movie)...
பதிலளிநீக்குthis kind of a movie is first time in tamil cinema(i dont know about other languages) and the audience were not ready for it and .i.e the reason for the flop of this movie.
hai Karthik, i agree with u that the screenplay is entertaining, but, with due credit to the creators, this is not the first movie with this kind of screenplay. most of the recent duet movies productions were made with similar setups: happy people, hilarious and sharp dialogs, poetic sequences etc.,
பதிலளிநீக்குi think thefilm would have attracted the audiences if it had shown the daughter making some kind of success/achievement in her life rather than just getting married to her lover... what say?
i think aravind getting married is a big thing in our customs and any other thing would be definetly great...but i am sure the movie would have not reached the audience to the extent it has reached now..
