Pakistani intelligence agencies on Wednesday night claimed to have arrested an Indian national in connection with the Lahore [Images] car bomb blast earlier in the day.
"The accused was identified as Munir alias Satish Anand Shukla, a resident of Kolkata," TV channels quoted police sources as saying.
Some of the reports claimed that the arrested had earlier worked with the Indian High Commission in London [Images].
A woman was killed and four persons were injured when a car bomb went off in a high-security residential complex for government officials in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore.
The explosion occurred at 9.20 am within the Government Officers Residences complex, an area in the capital of Punjab province, where senior government officials and judges reside.

They were released on the following day and returned to Pakistan, together with the Air Attache. At the request of the Pakistani High Commissioner, Mr. Agha Hilaly, the Government of India agreed on Sept. 5 not to publish this information until he had had time to inform his Government. On Sept. 8, however, the Pakistani Government demanded the immediate recall of the Indian Air Adviser in Pakistan and three other members of the Indian High Commissioner's staff on the ground that they had organized a large-scale espionage network.
